Whistle Sportsbar

The SAP Arena is not only Baden-Württemberg’s largest multifunctional hall, but also one of the most modern sports and event halls in Europe. Within the SAP Arena, we realised the approx. 400 m² Whistle Sportsbar within about 8 weeks. In addition to the planning and project coordination, we were responsible for the complete general contracting of the bar and guest room area, including the technical building equipment, as well as the manufacture, delivery and assembly of furniture.

The challenge for us was the construction of the sports bar.

The mix of high-quality American food with regional products and the possibility of showing sporting events via state-of-the-art 4K projections, embedded in a modern, personal and cosy ambience – great sports, fine food – was the client’s objective. With great attention to detail, a visit to the Whistle was to become a culinary and atmospheric highlight. Live sporting highlights from ice hockey, handball, football, golf & Co. and of course the Super Bowl are shown on a total of 20 monitors in razor-sharp 4K technology. In the four “Whistle Corners”, the tables even have their own beer dispenser, which was integrated into the furniture elements for this purpose.
