Project Manager, Fitting/GU

The project manager is responsible for acting as a main contractor with or without in-house fulfilment to ensure that projects are carried out independently, on schedule and at minimum cost, as well as ensuring the quality and execution of the projects. 

Your future role:

• Planning, coordinating and processing redevelopments and new build projects using a project management system
• Coordinating and working together with internal and external project participants, principals, architects, customers, and suppliers/producers
• You are responsible for contract conclusion with respect to the contract’s type, form, and contents, and for weighing the relevant risks
• Determining the construction target from the customer’s order, as well as monitoring, securing and adhering to the contracted services which are to be provided
• You are responsible for tendering, awarding and directing services from subcontractors
• Ongoing monitoring of and compliance with the construction target on both the customer and subcontractor side
• Ensuring project and cost transparency based on project figures kept on-hand at all times
• Budget and cost responsibility for the project
• Ensuring positive project liquidity
• Maintaining and ensuring timely and correct submission of the project controlling

Your profile as a successful applicant:

• You have completed vocational training as a civil engineer or certified construction technician (EQF Level 6), or have completed a specialism-level apprenticeship in the construction industry
• You have several years of professional experience as a main contractor project manager or project manager for fitting/turnkey construction projects
• You possess in-depth knowledge of tendering, implementation planning, contract drafting and construction
• You have a technical understanding of construction plans and knowledge of the VOB and building regulations
• You are a committed and highly customer-oriented team player with strong organisational and negotiation skills
• In addition to in-depth knowledge of MS Office, you will consistently use the tools found in our modern project management system
• You are assertive, persuasive, and keenly aware of your responsibilities, with strong communication skills
• You are business fluent in German and English
• You have a valid driving licence (class B)

To strengthen our dynamic team, we are looking for an interior fitting site manager for our locations in Berlin, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt am Main, Hamburg and Munich.

The site manager is responsible for the frictionless progress of the construction project and the timely completion of the specifics of the construction work with an eye on quality and economy at the construction site assigned to them. They are responsible for implementing the company’s goals for the construction project in accordance with the requirements of the bill of quantities and cost accounting, and are also responsible for representing the company appropriately to the outside world.

Your future role:

• Monitoring progress on the construction site or one of its subsections while ensuring that the project’s implementation is proficient, timely, customer-oriented, and economical.
• Supervising the construction schedule in detail
• Coordinating the various technical crews and operations with the external project participants
• Participating in construction meetings and building inspections
• Supervising implementation in accordance with building specifications and the Bill of Quantities

Your profile as a successful applicant:

• You have completed vocational training as a civil engineer or certified construction technician (EQF Level 6), or have completed a specialism-level apprenticeship in the construction industry with several years of professional experience in HOAI Phase 8 (site management)
• You bring knowledge of and experience in several trades, as well as know-how in structural engineering IT skills with office applications
• You are able to read and understand site plans and assembly drawings

• You are highly flexible and fully prepared to travel
• You have a valid driving licence (class B)
